This Privacy Policy explains how Latour Hair Beauty Plus LLC ("Latour," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information when you visit or use latour-hair-beauty-supply.myshopify.com, any custom or successor domain we operate, our online store, or services that link to this Policy; make or attempt to make a purchase; communicate with us; join our marketing programs; or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that have their own privacy policies.

1. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us, the features you use, and the choices you make.

1.1 Information You Provide

We may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and other delivery details;

  • Order and transaction information, such as Products viewed or purchased, order number, payment status, discounts, returns, refunds, shipping details, and purchase history;

  • Account information, such as login credentials, saved preferences, wish lists, and account activity;

  • Payment-related information. Payments are processed by Shopify and other payment providers. We generally receive transaction details, payment status, billing details, and limited payment-card information such as card brand and last four digits—not the complete card number or security code;

  • Communications, including emails, text messages, customer-service requests, reviews, survey responses, return requests, dispute information, photographs, videos, and other information you send us;

  • Marketing preferences, such as email or SMS enrollment, consent records, unsubscribe requests, and communication preferences; and

  • User-generated content, such as reviews, comments, photographs, videos, social-media tags, and other content you submit.

Please do not send sensitive personal information that we do not request.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, time zone, and general location derived from IP address;

  • pages, Products, links, advertisements, and content viewed or selected;

  • referring and exit pages, search terms, dates and times, session duration, and navigation activity;

  • shopping-cart activity, checkout activity, purchases, and interactions with emails or advertisements;

  • device identifiers, cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technical information; and

  • diagnostic, security, fraud-prevention, and error information.

We may collect this information through cookies, server logs, pixels, tags, web beacons, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies. A cookie is a small file stored on a browser or device. Some technologies are necessary for store operation, security, checkout, fraud prevention, and remembering your selections; others support analytics, personalization, or advertising.

1.3 Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from:

  • Shopify and Shopify services such as Shop or Shop Pay;

  • payment processors, financing providers, fraud-prevention services, and identity-verification providers;

  • shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, ShipTection or other shipping-protection providers, and return-service providers;

  • advertising, analytics, email, SMS, and social-media providers;

  • marketplaces, business partners, and service providers you direct to share information with us; and

  • publicly available sources, where permitted by law.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;

  • process payments, fulfill orders, provide invoices and confirmations, ship Products, process returns or refunds, and administer shipping-protection claims;

  • create and manage customer accounts and preferences;

  • communicate about orders, accounts, Products, policies, service messages, returns, claims, disputes, and customer support;

  • send marketing emails or text messages when permitted by law and consistent with your choices;

  • recommend Products, measure campaign performance, and deliver or evaluate advertising;

  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, chargeback abuse, security incidents, prohibited conduct, and other harmful or unlawful activity;

  • authenticate users, maintain records, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our customers, business, rights, property, and safety;

  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, reporting, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations;

  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and

  • complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business or assets.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with law, pursue legitimate business interests that are not overridden by your rights, protect vital interests, or based on your consent.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We may use necessary, functionality, analytics, and advertising technologies. Necessary technologies support core functions such as security, cart operation, checkout, fraud detection, and account access. Analytics technologies help us understand use and improve performance. Advertising technologies may help measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, or show more relevant advertising on our Services or third-party platforms.

Depending on our current setup, providers may include Shopify, Google, Meta/Facebook, Microsoft/Bing, email or SMS platforms, and other technology partners. Their use of information is also governed by their privacy notices.

You may manage certain cookies through our cookie banner or privacy settings, if displayed, and through your browser or device settings. Blocking cookies may cause parts of the Services to function incorrectly. You may also use industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out portal. These tools are controlled by third parties, and we do not guarantee their availability or effectiveness.

Some browsers transmit Do Not Track signals, but there is no universally accepted standard for responding to them. We therefore do not respond to Do Not Track signals unless required by law. Where required, we recognize valid browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device that sends the signal. You may need to submit a separate request to associate the choice with your account or other devices.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Commerce and technology providers, including Shopify, website-hosting, cloud-storage, IT, cybersecurity, analytics, customer-support, and business-software providers;

  • Payment and financing providers that process transactions, installment payments, refunds, and payment disputes;

  • Fulfillment and delivery providers, including warehouses, shipping carriers, address-verification providers, return providers, and shipping-protection or claims administrators;

  • Marketing and advertising providers, including email, SMS, social-media, analytics, and advertising platforms, subject to your choices and applicable law;

  • Professional advisers, including attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and collection providers;

  • Government authorities and other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, necessary to respond to lawful process, or appropriate to prevent fraud, enforce agreements, protect rights or safety, or investigate unlawful activity;

  • Transaction participants in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale, or transfer; and

  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. However, some privacy laws broadly define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” in a way that may include disclosing identifiers, device information, or internet activity to advertising or analytics partners. Where applicable, you may opt out as described in Section 8.

Shopify processes customer information to provide our store and may also process certain information for its own purposes or enhanced services. Review Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify's Privacy Policy for more information.

5. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message. If you opt into SMS/MMS marketing, you may reply STOP to unsubscribe or use another reasonable revocation method required by law. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase.

Even after you opt out of marketing, we may send nonmarketing messages about orders, accounts, security, policy changes, returns, refunds, claims, or customer service.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business and transaction records, comply with tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and protect legal rights.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the transaction, legal requirements, fraud and security risks, and whether an account or dispute remains active. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it. We may retain information after a deletion request when permitted or required by law, including for transaction records, fraud prevention, legal claims, and compliance obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission, storage system, or security measure is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers our processing, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information and access that information;

  • correct inaccurate personal information;

  • request deletion of certain personal information;

  • obtain a portable copy of certain personal information;

  • opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain profiling;

  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent;

  • limit or object to certain processing;

  • appeal our refusal of a privacy-rights request; and

  • receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

The Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act took effect January 1, 2026. If that law applies to Latour's processing and to your request, Kentucky residents may exercise the rights it provides, including applicable access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, and appeal rights.

To submit a request, email info@latourhairbeautyplus.com with the subject line Privacy Request and describe the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, account, or request. We will use verification information only for verification, fraud prevention, and compliance. If we deny an appeal and applicable law provides a regulator-contact right, our response will explain how to contact the appropriate authority.

You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may require proof that the agent is authorized and may ask you to verify your identity directly. Certain information may be exempt from a request, and we may deny or limit requests as permitted by law. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. International and European Users

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland and applicable law covers our processing, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive data portability, withdraw consent, and complain to your local supervisory authority.

Latour is based in the United States. Shopify and other providers may process information in the United States, Canada, and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

10. Children

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a child under 13 provided personal information to us, contact info@latourhairbeautyplus.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Minors should use the Services only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may link to third-party websites, apps, payment options, social networks, or services. We do not control their privacy or security practices. Review the third party's privacy notice before providing information. A link does not mean Latour endorses or is responsible for that party's practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our practices, technology, Services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date.
